Lately I’ve been feeling quite overwhelmed, and let’s just say I needed a break. So naturally when wellness platform Relaxy.be contacted me to review a spa, my reaction was a big HELL YES. A little time away was just what I needed.
When the boyfriend and I finally hit the road a couple of days ago I was beyond excited. I hadn’t been to a “real” wellness before (read: I’ve only had one head massage and visited a fancy pool located in a spa once), and I had no idea what to expect. Our destination: Oxygen-House in Berg. The crew had prepared for us to stay at the Villa Prestige, which is their newest addition. It’s the most exclusive part of the spa and it’s completely private, so you don’t have to share anything with other guests. After a short tour it was time for us to get comfy.
“So, where do we start? Sauna 1 or sauna 2? The hammam? Perhaps the infra-red cabin? Do you think that really works? I guess we’ll see. Hey look, we have an entire pool all to ourselves! Ooh, ooh, there’s a jacuzzi too!! This is perfect.”
We tried everything except for sauna 2, since our relaxation time had been cut short due to some miscommunication. But hey, my jello legs and I weren’t in the mood to complain. The only thing on my mind by the end of our session was “when is our next appointment?”. I can proudly announce that Spa-land has a new resident, and I am here to stay.
