This week the people of Ghent got to stuff their tummies to the fullest, and thankfully that included me and my friends (hello there, Eline)! The Korenmarkt got transformed into a market space filled with food trucks of all kinds. Heavenly, I’m telling you. There were tacos, hot dogs, french fries, pancakes, oysters, anything your tummy could wish for. It was the ideal getaway now that I’m going to be spending the next month behind my desk. Over to the equally important part: the drinks! Let me tell you, if you ever get the chance to drink a pina colada from a real coconut, go for it!! It was so cool and so yummie!
Barrio Cantina is leaving Ghent tonight, but you can find the Polé Polé concept in:
– Antwerp from 21/05 to 25/05
– Bruges from 4/06 to 7/06
– Ghent pt II from 17/07 to 26/07
– Antwerp pt II from 3/09 to 6/09
– Ghent pt III from 10/09 to 13/09
Which means that there’s no excuses. You HAVE to go, I promise you won’t regret it.
